2009 Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival Slated September 9-13, 2009
Call for Entries: Filmmakers & Bands
Temecula, CA -- For over a decade now, filmmakers and musicians from across America and around the globe come to Temecula every September to participate and enjoy in the celebration of the two most influential, most enduring, most entertaining art form and commerce of Film and Music. Now in its 12th year, TVIFF is ready to roll again this fall, September 9-13, 2009 at The Movie Experience 10 at Tower Plaza TVIFF’s tradition of presenting excellence in film and music has featured emerging styles from North America and 20+ countries around the world—and this year will be no different. The festival is announcing its traditional call for Entries for both film and music as officially open.
The festival is open to US and Foreign films in five categories: Full Length Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Animation and Student Films. To be eligible, a film entry must have been completed in 2007, 2008 or 2009. All film entries must be submitted on DVD’s to be considered for selection. All styles, genres and film lengths are welcome. Entries can be submitted by logging on to www.withoutabox.com.
The music competition component of TVIFMF is designed to showcase the music vision and artistic wizardry of talented individuals and groups from across America and the world. Emerging, up and coming unsigned performing artists and bands of all genres of music, from rock, jazz and pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Latin, Country, Folk, and World are accepted. (No Lip synching allowed). Music entries can be submitted by logging on to www.sonicbids.com. Entry deadline for both film and music entries, is June 30, 2009. Applications can be downloaded also by logging on to www.tviff.com.
