Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Welcomes Kim DeLacy to its Artist Roster
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl guitar company, welcomes to its artist roster singer-songwriter, Kim DeLacy.
Raised in northern Arizona, Kim DeLacy is a poetic storyteller, whose instrumentals and graceful finger-picking patterns lend poignancy to the raw emotion in her voice. Some of her career highlights include joining Rachael Yamagata on stage at the Hotel Café in Hollywood, CA, as well as playing with guitar luminaries such as Stanley Jordan, Grant-Lee Phillips, and Keith Martini. She has proven, with the release of her new album "Crescendos and Cadences" that she will not limit herself to guitar and drums alone. The new album includes bass guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, harmonica, cello, trumpet, thump piano, keyboards, organ, churango, xylophones, drums, and kazoo--all played by Kim herself.
“Ethereal, charismatic, original and raw are just some of the emotions you hear in Kim’s music. She sits in a tea party with bands like Ruby, Bjork or early Sara Bareilles. The layered complexities of several, different instruments makes Kim a truly welcomed original artist to the Daisy Rock family,” says Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars offers a complete line of quality girl guitars designed to look and sound great, and to fit the female form. For more info, or to find a dealer near you, visit daisyrock.com.
