Preliminary tallies from the United Way Women\'s Leadership Breakfast, point toward women raising three million dollars for Today\'s Girls…Tomorrow\'s Leaders - a United Way of Massachusetts Bay initiative that is helping adolescent girls gain the skills and self-esteem they need to succeed. This is one million more than the breakfast raised last year!

A few of the speakers were girls who were high risk in the community for getting involved in gangs, drugs etc and through various United Way programs, turned their lives around.
